What Visitors Say
"It is true that Doug is very nice. I'm from out of town and needed to get my prescription filled while in Stonington. When I got home I needed my usual pharmacy to have the script back. My pharmacy was not able to get them to send my script back to them. They called and spoke to Seaside several times but they did not follow through on sending the script. I called to request it, during their stated business hours, and the phone was not answered. This is an irresponsible practice, people need their medicine."
"They don’t let you in, so you have to order at the window, and the guy who runs it then walks the length of the store to find what you need. This creates a very slow process that results in long lines at the window. The prices are not always marked. They wound up charging $10.75 for a travel size saline solution that usually sells for $5.70. A very poorly run business. I think I will go off-island in the future."
"I’m visiting from out of town for an artist residency, and the pharmacist went above and beyond on a federal holiday for me! He saw the prescription come through, noticed it might be time-sensitive, came in on a holiday to fill it for me, and called me directly to let me know I could come in even though the store was closed. Truly blown away — what an angel. (PS: This would NEVER happen at my local Walgreens back home!!)"
