The Blue Hill Concert Association has been running chamber music concerts since 1978, making it one of the more enduring performing arts organizations on the Blue Hill Peninsula. The format is simple: the First Congregational Church in Blue Hill provides the acoustic space, and the Association books professional chamber ensembles for Sunday afternoon concerts spread across the winter season.

The 2026 season runs from January through late March with four concerts: the Claremont Trio (January 25), Telegraph Quartet (February 15), Boyd Meets Girl (March 8), and the Isidore Quartet (March 29). All concerts begin at 3pm. The winter timing is intentional — the series fills a gap when most summer arts activity on the peninsula has closed.

The venue matters. First Congregational Church Blue Hill is a nineteenth-century New England church building with the acoustic properties that chamber music rewards. The intimacy of the space puts audiences close to the performers; this isn't a concert hall experience in the formal sense, but something more direct.

The Association is based at 157 Hinckley Ridge Road in Blue Hill, though programming is centered at the church venue.
